Well, I caved and put the christmas tree up. Its the first time I ever put one up by myself, and although its leaning a bit, it was pretty easy! LOL I put it up one night, and then bb and I put the decorations on it the next night. She really didn't care too much about putting them on the tree, which I was a little surprised with. She just wanted to help take them out of the box and hand them to me. When I lit the tree up, she looked at it for a bit, and then said "WWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW"
I've been trying to expose her to as much Christmas as possible, so I have been singing her Christmas songs pretty much every day. Poor girl! She loves rocking around the Christmas tree the most so far LOL.
Her new word (well she has TONS of new words!) is Pretty. I put her hair in a pony tail (on the top of her head, because her hair is still kinda short) and she touched it and said "Pretty." She also wants to put clips in my hair, or sometimes just messes it up and says "pretty mommy, pretty." <3 Love her!!!!
I took her for pics with santa on monday, and that was quite interesting. There was only one person in front of us, so we colored while we waited. She was laughing at the other people when they were with santa, so I thought it would go fine. When it was our turn, I put her up on Santa's lap, and she cried. She didn't freak out, but she was not too happy. I left her there for a bit to see if she would stop, but then she leaned right over to me and tried to get off of his lap lol! So then the photographer brought some christmas bulbs out and played catch with her, and santa did too! She loved this, but after a while, I asked if she wanted to sit on his lap, and she said "No." The photographer asked her if she wanted to whisper what she wanted for christmas in santa's ear, and she said "No." haha the photographer said that it was a very matter of fact no, and that she knows exactly what she wants and doesn't want LOL So they got a cute pic of her standing next to him. I think I want to take her for pics for her birthday. The way she was playing and making funny faces while she was playing catch, and covering her mouth and acting all surprised, I think she will be pretty fun. At the end of the santa pics, they gave her two treats, and she walked over to santa and gave them to him!!! Man she is cute!
So I have figured out that putting her in her stroller is a much better way of getting shopping done. She is pretty content in the stroller. YAY! lol I have gotten a few more things for bb, but not much for others yet. I will be going out of town on wed, so I hope to get the rest of my shopping done then.
It doesn't look like we will be in the new house for christmas. :( Oh well. Things are moving much slower than I thought, mostly because I can't get over there to help because XH never comes to see bb throughout the week anymore. THATS a whole other story. He says he's going to come this day, then that, and over the last two weeks, has only come to see her if I am working and need him to watch her. Its really getting annoying because I have been sooo open with all of this, and he can come see her whenever he wants, and even stay at my house to spend time with her if he wants to, and somehow I think this is going to come back on me because I don't want to be with him anymore. Oh well. Its his own doing, not mine.
BB's new thing is she will find change around the house and say "money" and put it in my housecoat pocket and say "pocket." ahha.
Today she is very energetic. I spent most of the day cleaning up after her and the place still looks like a disaster. She has pulled a ton of ornaments off of the Christmas tree, and almost pulled the whole tree down this afternoon! She was trying to take a bell off, and it got stuck, but she didn't stop pulling! Good thing I caught it! She is napping now, so I should probably get a french lesson in.
